Mindflow consists of several diverse professionals joining forces. For us too, differences translate into potential. We do share important core values. We believe that people want to learn, that wisdom is more important than intelligence, that authenticity and autonomy are essential, and that respect for yourself and others is absolute.

Muriel

My story

Even as a little girl, I sought connection with people around me but found it wasn’t easy. The language of my peers didn’t seem to be my own, and I worked hard to master it. I succeeded, though sometimes I felt I lost a part of myself in the translation.

Nevertheless, I was able to build a successful career, with fantastic mentors and wonderful challenges. I had the privilege of working with amazing people: first as a project manager, then as a team manager and director. I discovered that I perform best in my professional life when I can work on a story I truly believe in, with people with whom I have genuine connections.

It wasn’t until I met my husband and had children that I began to understand what was happening. Gifted, highly sensitive, autism spectrum disorder – these aren’t empty concepts in our family. I sought information, took courses, read books, and connected that knowledge with my previous experience in business.

Now I put all that experience at the service of adults who are a bit different and the organizations that work with (or want to work with) them. I help them connect with each other, where the whole becomes greater than the sum of its parts.

My career has repeatedly shown me how a system guides individual employees. Design the system well, and you enable people to exceed themselves. Create a poor system, and you undermine even the best people. That’s why I continue to work on organizational change, and why I don’t want to limit myself to supporting individual employees.

Chris

My story

I’m Chris and I’m interested in learning about how people work together within your organization and what your role is.

As an (interim) manager, I’ve worked with highly diverse teams in very different environments. You regularly encounter those outliers in the team who have undeniable qualities but don’t always integrate smoothly within the organization. When you succeed in creating an environment where these people dare/can show themselves, it yields notably better results, not just for them but throughout the entire team. When Muriel began delving deeper into various forms of neurodiversity, we quickly made the connection with the many organizations that, despite good intentions, are designed with the “normal” employee in mind and thereby stifle all “extraordinary” talents. This represents a significant improvement potential for companies and other organizations, and one that yields more and is more enjoyable than simply parting ways with those who don’t fit the mold. The bonus you get on top is that everyone ultimately feels better about it.
